June meeting: Come and vote for your 2013-2015 officers

Elections for the 7/13-6/15 terms of office will be held at the June meeting.  We will vote for President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.  Yuzo Maruyama was nominated at the April meeting for President and he has accepted.  Steven Fat and Mark Edelstein are on the slate for second terms as Treasurer and Secretary, respectively.  No VP nominee yet.  It could be you!  If interested, please let Timm know.

More on the June meeting: Bring Trees

Last fall, yours truly went out on a limb (bonsai humor) and volunteered do a June 2013 presentation on Bonsai Aesthetics.  I was obviously out of my mind.  I will give it my best shot but I need your help! Please bring trees that either (1) convey your own personal sense of bonsai artistry or (2) could benefit from some peer consultation regarding aesthetics.

Even more on the June Meeting!

Bring broadleaf evergreens for Show and Tell: Boxwood, Cotoneaster, Heavenly Bamboo, Olive, Pyracantha, etc.  Yuzo plans to donate several items for the raffle and other members are encouraged to donate, as well.
