Happy New Year!
After a 2 month break, 2014 BSK activities resume with the 3 events listed above. At the monthly meeting on Jan. 15, Yuzo Maruyama will discuss harvesting black pines, fertilizer, repotting, pot selection and stands. The following Sat. will be the year’s first workshop at his nursery.
The Friday after that, we will have our annual club dinner. The cost is $20 per person, which covers an American-style buffet, coffee and tea, and the all-important ticket to a raffle of bonsai booty. If you plan to attend the dinner – and we hope you do! – it is important to RSVP to Treasurer Steven Fat at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday January 10th.
Another New Year reminder: please pay your 2014 dues to Steven at the next meeting: $20 individual dues or $35 family dues.
